The West Enders, Season Three, Episode Seventeen: There’s no way to delay, that trouble coming every day*
*The title of this episode is from Frank Zappa’s song Trouble Every Day, performed by the Mothers of Invention, one of the favourites of my youth.
The West Enders, Season Three, Episode Sixteen: Passover and Easter
I had hoped very much to have a real episode for you by today but I’m afraid life in 1:1 scale has overshadowed life in 1:6 scale lately. Nevertheless, I thought I would share a few photos from the West Enders’ holidays.
In the run up to Easter, Roxanne and her daughter Victoria were very busy on the farm. Roxanne is unhappy because a new grocery store will be opening in the village and she realises her farm stand in the village square will lose business. She’s set up on the farm itself and is doing a good business in eggs for the holiday.
Victoria loves the early season strawberries.
On Friday evening, Midge and Sam are thrilled to have their first Seder in their new home.
It’s a dream come true for Midge.
On Easter Sunday, there are hot cross buns for breakfast for the Panenkas and Puppes.
All the Christians in the village dress in their Easter best.
And the church is filled with beautiful Easter bonnets!
We hope your holidays were happy and meaningful!
