The West Enders in February

Although it will seem as if very little has happened in West End Village, big changes have been afoot. I have reduced my doll collection considerably and am now in the process of reducing my collection of clothing. My illness seems to have reached a plateau after a precipitous deterioration and recently two Occupational Therapists came over to see what accommodations could be made to help with my breathlessness. I’ve had to eliminate the school because it blocked access to some of the space using my rollator walker. So at the moment, West End Village is in chaos and I continue to make the space user friendly for someone with a walker. But of course, the West Enders continue to enjoy life as you can see from the photos.

The bar at the renamed West End Manor Resort remains a favourite with the models and actors of the community. As Valentine’s Day approaches, the ladies are dazzling. Hagrid is looking pretty spiffy too as he chats up Tina.

Before heading to the Manor as it’s now known among the Villagers, Shakira has a photoshoot to promote her latest album and tour. She’s not sure which photo she likes yet.

  1. Hey Wendy, it’s good that you can move around more easily and get advise from the therapists. The Westenders won’t mind some chaos, they all look great, good luck Hagrid! 😉 Shakira looks fabulous, love the photo shoot! Lots of hugs, Linda

  2. I’m glad you are getting some help from the OT’s and I’m sure that the kids won’t mind home schooling for a bit. It seems to be a trend.
I love the photos of Shakira; she could use any of them. I love that gold dress BTW. Hagrid looks as if he might have gone to the bar in his PJ’s but Tina does not seem to mind. Her hair is great too, really does remind me of Tina Turner.

  3. Good luck with you illness, Wendy. I suppose that a plateau is much better than a precipice. As ever, beautiful photos of lovely dolls. If I were Shakira I’d go for the second photo: wild, I think, without suggesting raunchiness.

  4. Love hearing about the West Enders no matter what is going on. They look great! Glad you’ve gotten some Occupational Therapy. I may be biased (my sister is an OT) but I find it very useful. Best of luck.

  5. So glad you are going to be able to still enjoy your doll space even if it is downsized a bit. As far as letting go of some of your dolls, I know that is a very hard task and I am not good at it! Such tough decisions to be made! Hope your health stays at a level you can deal with. Hugs to you my friend!

  6. I’ve been having to do some reorganizing, too, although thankfully not for health reasons. Barbieville keeps growing but my apartment ain’t keeping up!
